Wine Club: Frequently Asked Questions
The Robert Renzoni Winery Wine Club, Vino Famiglia, is one of the most active and lively wine clubs in Temecula Wine County. Join us and you’ll enjoy special wine shipments six times per year, invitations to private members only events and lots of other one-of-a-kind wine perks. Get answers to frequently asked questions about the Robert Renzoni Wine Club or contact our Wine Club Manager if you don’t find the answer here.
Please notify us promptly of any address changes to avoid misdirected wine shipping charges. We reserve the right to change or amend the Wine Club at any time. Wine Club Memberships are void where prohibited.
Q: Can I select all white or all red wines for my shipment?
A: Robert Renzoni Winery offers three Wine Clubs: La Vita Mista, La Dolce Vino or La Vita Rossa. We hand-select two bottles for each shipment:
La Vita Mista – one Red wine and one White or Rose wine
La Dolce Vita – two bottles of Sweet style and/or white wines
La Vita Rossa – two bottles of Red wine
“Hot States” – twice a year billing/shipping for any of the above clubs. Designed for members who live in hotter climates and/or who travel a lot during the year. If you live in AZ, FL, GA, LA, NV, TN, KS or TX, enrollments in the twice a year option is mandatory for shipping customers.
We do not offer an all white club at this time, but you can always order your favorite white wines at a 20% discount.
Q: I just joined your Vino Famiglia wine club. How will I know when to pick up my wine?
A: We email our wine club members announcements of upcoming releases and shipments approximately 1 weeks in advance of the release date. Please add Wine Club@Robertrenzonivineyards.com to your email address book and your safe-sender’s list so that your system will not assume we are sending you spam. You may also visit our Wine club page on the website – News & Events. The billing, shipping and Pick Up dates are listed for the entire year.
Will Call customers should pick up their wine at the Robert Renzoni Winery within 30 days of the billing date. We may automatically ship your wines that are not picked up at the end of 30 days and the credit card on file will be charged for this shipment. The Robert Renzoni Wine Club also reserves the right to substitute wines not picked up within 30 days.
Q: Can I substitute a wine if I don’t like the wine in the shipment?
A: We do not allow substitutions and/or exchanges. Your wines are carefully pre-selected and pre-billed based on several factors that make the wine optimal at the time of release.
Q: I am a UPS customer. How will I know when my Robert Renzoni wines are shipped?
A: The shipping date is included in your Wine Club email notification regarding releases. Also, we include your email address and phone number when we process your Wine Club shipment through UPS. UPS will send you an email and/or give you an automated telephone call with your estimated delivery date so you know when to expect your shipment. Please remember, an adult signature is required for wines. If possible, we encourage you to have your Robert Renzoni wines shipped to your place of business.
You may also go to UPS.com and set up a “MyChoice” account that will allow you to manage additional delivery options.
Q: What if I’m not home when UPS tries to deliver my Wine Club shipment?
A: UPS will leave a notice that they attempted to deliver your Wine Club shipment; UPS will make two more attempts. The attempted delivery notice will have a phone number to call if you want to make other delivery arrangements.
Q: I am a Will Call customer – can someone else pick up my Wine Club wines?
A: Yes. Just call or email us and let us know who you authorize to pick up your wines and we’ll add a note to your file.
Q: What if I move or my credit card information changes?
A: Please contact us as soon as you have any new information that could affect delivery, including email and phone number changes. Email the Robert Renzoni Winery Wine Club or call us at 951-302-8466 Ext: #2.
Changes to the shipping address after we have shipped will result in an extra fee for re-shipment.
Q: When are Wine Club payments processed?
A: Payments are processed approximately 1 weeks prior to the release date. To insure that your wines will be ready, please wait until you receive your Wine Club email notice of when the wines will be available for Pick Up. You may also check the News & Events section on the Robert Renzoni website for Pick Up Night dates.
Q: What if I’m going to be gone during a Wine Club shipment?
A: Give us a call at 951-302-8466 Ext: #2 or email us with a minimum of one week prior to the shipment date and we can place your order on hold or re-schedule the delivery date.
Q: How will I know what the exact Wine Club shipment will cost?
A: The exact amount of each wine club shipment will be reflected on your credit card statement. As different parts of the country have different shipping and tax rates, we are unable to notify you of the exact amount in advance of the shipment. Remember, the amount you will see on your credit card statement includes the discounted Wine Club price plus shipping, processing fee and tax where applicable.
Q: How many guests can I bring in for complimentary wine tasting?
A: A total of 8 tastings per month is complimentary when you visit the Robert Renzoni Winery. (One complimentary tasting per person per day not to exceed 8 tastings in a month.) Additional visits (more than 8 tastings in a month) and additional guests will receive half price tastings! Please note: half price tastings do not include the logo glass. A Vino Famiglia Wine Club member must be present for guests to receive our special tasting price.
Q: Can I give a Vino Famiglia Wine Club membership as a gift?
A: A Vino Famiglia Wine Club membership is an absolutely wonderful gift to give! We highly recommend the gift that keeps on giving. All you need to do is complete the Gift Membership form in the Robert Renzoni Wine Tasting Room or give us a call at 951-302-8466 Ext: #2 and ask for the Wine Club Manager.
Shipments are automatically billed to your credit card and will continue for the specified amount of time you determine in your gift purchase; the minimum gift membership is three shipments. If you prefer, give a Robert Renzoni Winery Gift Card so that the receiver may visit our winery and make their own selections. Gift cards can be purchased in any denomination (minimum $25.00).
Q: Can I pick up my Wine Club wines at the winery and save shipping charges?
A: Yes! If you signed up for Delivery, you can change your account to Will Call. Email the Wine Club Manager to notify us of your preference and allow at least two weeks prior to shipping dates for us to change your status.
Q: I live in a state that gets very hot during the summer and/or I travel a lot. What are my options?
A: We have created a new club for members like you! You can now have your wines billed and shipped twice a year. In early March and late October, we will bill and ship you 6 bottles of wine (Red only, Mixed or White/Sweet). These are the same wines you would normally receive every other month, however, by shipping during these months, you will avoid the extreme heat and cold that can often damage wines.
This option is also good for members who do a lot of traveling and means less time spent waiting on UPS deliveries. Please note: this club option is for shipping customers only. Wines from this club are not available for pick up.
If you live in the states of AZ, FL, GA, NV, KS, LA or TX, you will be automatically enrolled in this twice a year shipping/billing club.
Q: How long does my membership last?
A: Vino Famiglia Wine Club members are very happy with their memberships and stay with us for years. However, if you decide to cancel, you may do so at any time provided you have received a minimum of three releases. Written cancellations are required. email us and we can process your request. Please remember, we require 30 days notice for cancellations. Due to administrative costs associated with cancellations, the prior club discounts you have received are charged to the credit card on file if you cancel prior to receiving three releases.
We know you will enjoy our specially selected boutique wine shipments and the Vino Famiglia Wine Club events at the Robert Renzoni Winery; again, for any other questions not covered, please contact the Wine Club Manager.
Q: I heard members have their own private room. How does this work?
A: The Members Lounge is open for our Wine Club members to enjoy every day. It is not staffed Monday – Thursday but members can relax with their complimentary glass from the Tasting Room and can order food from Mama Rosa’s Trattoria to be delivered to them in the Lounge.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, after you have checked in with the Cashier and obtained the door code, there will a server available to pour wines by the glass, offer bottle service and take food orders. We are sorry, but tastings must be done in the Tasting Room.
Please be courteous to your other members and limit the number of additional guests you bring with you as we want all members to be able to enjoy this special room.
Guest restrictions are enforced on the weekends. The Members Lounge is an ADULT only environment.
Q: If I order a case of wine, do I get any additional discounts?
A: Yes, you will receive an additional 5% discount and FREE shipping on all case orders – mix and match ok! Please note that there is a $6.00 handling fee applied to the order to cover packaging. Members save between $30 and $50 depending on the ship-to state!
