Known as "Tino" to his family and friends, my grandfather Domenic lived the quintessential American dream.  He came to this country as a small child in the steerage section of an ocean liner.  Over the next 90 years, he founded successful businesses and raised his family with many of the traditions he knew from his native Italy.  One of these traditions was the creation of homemade wine vinegar in the basement of his family's home, a tradition that members of our family continue until this day.  We've paid attention to every detail, just as he would have, to assure that this incredible vinegar complements your salads and other dishes.  We hope you enjoy our family vinegar as you create your own cherished family traditions!

My grandmother Rose cooked without recipes, but always knew exactly what "pinch" of this or that the dish needed.  The one constant ingredient in her cooking was love.  Rose always knew how to include include each family member in preparing holiday meals, and we'd spend warm, sunny afternoons making homemade ravioli or Gnocchi under her watchful eye.  Many of my fondest childhood memories include those holiday dinners, because the love that came through in the preparation of the meal was felt around the dinner table.  This sauce would've made "Mama Rosa" proud.  We've paid attention to every detail, just as she would have, to assure that this wonderful sauce is perfect over a plate of her ravioli - although today we use a recipe!  Enjoy Mama Rosa's sauce over pasta and with a bottle of your favorite Robert Renzoni wine, creating your own cherished family traditions!
